Paul and Ramneet…

This was a really fun wedding. We were actually photographing the second part of their wedding. Paul and Ramneet were married out East On May 17th and then had the second part/party in Calgary.

It was raining so we were lucky we booked the Calgary Art Gallery to do some picture’s. The cool thing about this location is this was one of the first places they went when they first started dating. So they had to sign the wall with their initials and the wedding date…so sweet.

 We then popped out side for a few quick arch pictures and then off to the reception. The food was fabulous and everyone was really festive and ready to party!

The thing that amazed me is how close their family is and how they care so much for each other. We thought it was really cool.

It was so great being a part of your day and we had such a blast…hope you had a wonderful honeymoon!

 

Foolin around…

Jeff and I just had a blast doing an e-session with Karen and Don tonight..sooo while I was waiting for my pictures to download I thought I would fool around with a texture and one of my favourite pictures from Paul and Rameets wedding which was this past Saturday…I like the effect.
(I wish this was my image but it’s Jeff’s… he rocked this wedding)

Melanie & Darren’s prenatal session…

These two are perfect for each other…Darren is extremely funny and sweet, he makes Mel laugh. This is a couple who are madly in love and who love being together. Their new little addition will fit in nicely. I had so much fun with these two and I can’t wait to meet the new baby whether it be a boy or a girl…my guess is a boy! Time will tell if I am right

David and Donna’s wedding…

It was such an honour for Jeff and I to be photographing this intimate wedding…there was 6 of us in total…yes that’s right…the bride, groom, best man, maid of honour and Jeff and I. These two are so strong and have come together and found strength in one another..it was very inspiring. They were wed at the Central United Church in downtown Calgary and then we went over to the Peter Lougheed House for a few more pic’s.I wish you all the best and thanks for having us there to document this wonderful joining of two hearts!

Baby pictures…

Here’s Mr “T” at 7 month’s old. I just love this age….they are so expressive, chubby and cute! It is my favourite time to photograph babies…when they can sit up but they can’t get away from me! hee hee
He loved being naked on that white fur..I mean really…who wouldn’t?? My favourite pic is the one where he is facing away from me…he looks so cute sitting there with his little bare bum!

Beautiful Kaitlyn…

What a little beauty…inside and out! She stopped by with her mom for a photo shoot before her first communion. She looked like a little princess! She was so sweet and was so much fun to photograph.. as it turns out her mom’s name is also Shelley! Spelled the same way as mine…I thought that was funny!

Butterfield Acres

My sister Chantel, Mark and my sweet little Nephew Carson came out from sunny Summerland for a visit! I was still suffering a bit from the flu but had to take a trip out to Butterfield Acres with Carson and his girlfriend Kaila. The kids had a blast..Kaila wasn’t so sure about the animals but Carson was right in there… even when the pigs crowded him he wasn’t afraid.
Carson had his first ride on a moody little shetland pony! However a stupid man walked right in front of me as I was taking a picture of this momentous event…I mean he almost walked right into me…It’s kinda hard to miss me with a foot long lens hanging off the front of my face…geeze. I did manage to get a couple shots…good thing I am quick
Everyone was tired after an afternoon out but it was so much fun…thanks for coming out Christy and Kaila!

A day out with the little dude…

We had to do a little bit of maternity shopping for my sister seeing as I am going to be an Aunty again!!! They don’t have a lot of selection in Summerland B.C. go figure!
After Chan found some awesome cloths at Thyme we had a Starbucks break where Carson proceeded to flirt with any girl that would look his way! haha
On our way back to the car we saw a Kids MEXX store so I though being the great Auntie I am, I should get Carson some cool new summer outfits! We got in the store and Carson picked out a little orange ball cap and put it on backwards and danced around the store! Too funny:) He also got some cool little camo shorts with three shirts…he had to carry his bag out of course!
No visit to Calgary would be complete without Mark taking a trip to the Blackfoot Motor Sport store. Lucky for Mark I had my point and shoot camera in my purse so we had to take a few (probably 30 ) shot’s of Carson on Marks dream bikes! Boys will be boys….
