Jason & Janet…the engagement session

A storm blew in just as we were going to start our shoot… (that seems to be happening a lot in Calgary lately..sigh)
Lucky for Jeff and I, these two didn’t care! We had a lot of laugh’s and I felt bad asking them to sit down in the damp grass but they wanted to get the best picture’s so with damp butt’s and all they had fun! I love the color’s they wore… it looked so nice with the grey stone and gloomy sky.

Todd & Amy…a prairie engagement session.

We had a great time with Todd and Amy..they were high energy and up for anything! They are getting married in September at a beautiful golf course so we thought we would do something a little different for their e-session. Jeff and I finally got to shoot in the canola field at sunset! Whoo hoo! There were so many good one’s it was hard to choose. We had so much fun with you two, enjoy your sneak peek.

PS Jeff got that wicked shot with the sun flare!…hmmm…I wish it was mine..LOL

Anthony & Thao..their wedding!

Their wedding finally arrived and the weather was perfect! They met on a soccer field and said their vows on the same soccer field…so many of the details of their wedding were things they did together, places they went, the things they loved.
They had many friends that grew up with them and are close like brothers and sisters, they care a great deal about their friends and family and it was really amazing to be a part of that.
It was a long day but their energy was incredible and the one thing I noticed about these two from the day we first met.. is that after 6 years of being together they always hold hands. ALWAYS.(so sweet)
We had so much fun, I love their family and it seemed like we were friends at their wedding instead of being hired to document their day. The reception was crazy fun..we left close to midnight but I imagine they partied on into the wee hours. I hope you have a wonderful time in Hawaii, you deserve the break!

Chad and Krista…their wedding in Red Deer

We had a great day out in Red Deer with Chad and Krista and their super fun entourage. The ceremony was held in Red Deer, then with a quick stop at the liquor store and McDonalds we were off to Chad’s parents farm in Innisfail. What a great spot..there were red and blue barns, great big open fields and best of all the old Chevy truck! These two have so much fun together and we loved being a part of their wedding day! Thanks guys…enjoy your pic’s, there were sooo many good ones.

Don & Karen…their wedding at The Ranche

What a beautiful day for a wonderful and sweet couple! These two are a blast together and it is non-stop laughing the whole time. They were surrounded by their close friends and family to share this special day..thanks guys for being yourselves and for choosing us to be your photographers! Mike & Sandy…their wedding in Three Hills

What a great time we had at this wedding!
Jeff and I grabbed a Starbucks on our way out to Three Hills ( this ALWAYS makes a drive more enjoyable!) and the weather was sunny and hot.
Sandy looked stunning as she walked down the isle…Mike was grinning from ear to ear. They were married by Mikes father which I thought was really cool and they had so many people at their wedding that truly cared for them, it was really nice to be there to witness that.
It was a tad windy out by the time the ceremony was done and we had a few issues with Sandy’s veil standing straight up (LOL) but we managed to “work with it” and get some amazing shots.

Marichelle & Brenden…the engagement session

We decided to go to Reader Rock Garden to do their e-session photos. It was pretty, but the mosquitoes were absolutely horrible. Luckily these two still managed to look like they weren’t getting eaten alive..lol! You gotta love Calgary this time of year

Happy Canada Day! Guinness is 6 month’s old…

Our puppy is 6 months old already! We found out he loves the water, we just had to coax him in the first time. As you can see he decided it was pretty cool! I hadn’t posted pic’s of our little boy in a while, maybe because he’s in his geeky teenage years, LOL.
