We have a brand new blog that is so awesome…

Tanis & Mark…the e-session

These two are so meant for each other, we had such a blast doing their photos. Quick to laugh, sweet loving gazes at each other, easy conversation, hugs and kisses..these two are what a great couple is! They are getting married in July and we are so stoked to be part of their wedding day 🙂
They brought their two fur babies along for a few pic’s and there is one posted below that has to be my favourite one ever..they are kissing and both the dogs were staring at them! LOL
It was a little chilly out but you guys braved the cold and tried anything we suggested and that was AWESOME!

You asked for it…well, actually you didn’t, but here it is anyways:
1. I cut all the seeds out of my tomatoes before I eat them
2. I love to dress the same as Jeff so we “match” even though that drives him crazy..hee heee.
3. I like the smell of liquor stores..I always have..I know that’s a weird one.
4. I tell Jeff and my family I love them every time I talk to them on the phone, it doesn’t matter if it’s 5 times that day.
5. I like to put my Christmas tree up on Nov 11th so I have time to enjoy it.
6. I have an overwhelming desire to turn on the car windshield wipers when going through a carwash.
7. I love the taste of desert first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee…forget after dinner!

As I started this list I realized how many more I could have added to the list. hahaha

Rolly polly cuteness!

I thought I would just share a few of sweet little Miss A she is just so chubby and cute!

My new nephew..Adam

We were recently in Summerland to visit my new little nephew Adam. He is a sweet little boy and is so good, I love his fresh little baby smell and his fuzzy little head. I have to admit though Carson steals the show every time..he is such a little character. He loves attention and he’s always laughing and smiling. He just melts my heart when he calls me auntie Shelley or takes my hand to show me where he wants me to go! I did buy him his first camera…got to get them trained young!
Our visit was not nearly long enough and I was so sad to leave them.

ARF 2009 Calendar

I had the pleasure in being asked to photograph a pet for the ARF calendar this year. I was more than happy to help out. I got to photograph Yoshi… he was a sweet boy who LOVED dried cranberries for snacks and LOVES to dig so once he settled into his little hole here, he gave me a big yawn, I caught it and that’s the one they chose to use much to my delight 🙂

Please help support this wonderful organization (ARF’s mission is to rescue stray and unwanted dogs and cats from First Nations and rural areas and place them in loving, permanent homes while providing programs to reduce pet over-population.)
This is a huge fundraiser for them and below is the link that shows you where you can purchase these really nice calendars (only $10ea) A shout out to all the other photographers who volunteered their time and Tanya for the superb work putting organizing the whole thing..I can’t wait to see who I get to photograph next year 🙂

Todd & Amy…the wedding part 2

Here’s a few more…
Ok I have a weakness… I adore shots of the bridal party jumping..I love it when they ask if we can do that shot…the expressions on people’s faces are priceless and I always enjoy going through them during the editing process. Laughing out loud when there is only your dog to hear you is not crazy ..is it???

I like the belt buckle pic…Amy told me she had a “weak moment, a lapse in judgement” when she said it was okay for Todd to buy the guys belt buckles for prezzies! haha I didn’t even really notice them… until they “showed them off” We had a fun time and there were so many good one’s it was hard to choose..

Todd & Amy…the wedding part 1

What a beautiful fall day we had for Todd & Amy’s wedding. Now this was a fun bridal party 🙂
They have so many wonderful people in their lives and it was cool to be able to be part of their day. The reception was held at Sirocco…a newer golf course that we highly recommend for your wedding venue. The food was really good, the service was awesome and the ambiance and view was amazing.

Janet & Jason…the wedding
